The July meeting for the South Hamilton Community School Board will be held at 6 this (Thursday) evening at the junior/senior high school boardroom in Jewell. The board will consider a 28-E agreement for services with Iowa Central Community College, approve a mental health services agreement with Okerberg and Associates,and approve future school fund raising events. The South Hamilton school board will appoint a board secretary/treasurer for the 2023-24 school year, authorized signatories for the district for next school year, approve a contract for copy machines, consider the purchase for a school van and hold the first reading on South Hamilton school board policies. There will be a look at legislative priorities, personnel matters and a report by South Hamilton superintendent Heather Holm.
