The June meeting of the Hamilton County Conservation Board will be held this Friday morning,June 23 at 9:30 at the Briggs Woods Conservation office south of Webster City. Friday’s meeting agenda will include an update from the superintendent and clubhouse manager of Briggs Woods Golf Course on the season so far. An oxbow agreement with the U.S. Fish and Wildlife Service will be considered by the board. There will discussion on a solar letter of intent and a PPA (Power Purchase Agreement) with Red Lion Renewables. The conservation board will review a Memorandum of Understanding with the Iowa Department of Natural Resources for water trail signs. There will be a report by conservation director Brian Lammers plus other matters.
