South Hamilton baseball falls to Ballard, 11-4

The South Hamilton Hawks baseball team made the trip down Highway 69 to Slater on Tuesday night, to take on the Ballard Bombers at Nite Hawk Field in Slater. The Hawks entered with a 4-7 record, while Ballard entered at 9-2.

Ballard would get on the board first with a run in the 2nd, before Landen Skartvedt answered with his first career home run in the 3rd to tie the game at 1-1. South Hamilton took the lead at 2-1 after the top of the 4th, but Ballard would put up 5 runs in the frame to take a 6-2 lead. South Hamilton would put up 2 runs in the top of the 6th to cut it to 6-4, before Ballard blew the game open with a 5-run 6th inning, and took home an 11-4 victory.

At the time of release, full stats were not available for South Hamilton on Bound, the Hawks return to action on Wednesday as they host PCM.
