
The South Hamilton Hawks and Roland-Story Norsemen boys golf teams made the trip down to Polk County on Tuesday afternoon, to compete in a quad with Saydel and North Polk at the Tournament Club of Iowa in Polk City.
North Polk was the team champion with a team score of 158, while South Hamilton was 2nd with a score of 183, and Roland-Story was 3rd with a score of 194. The lowest scoring area golfer was Roland-Story sophomore Braylen Loots and South Hamilton sophomore Landon Sogard, who each shot a 42 (+6).
South Hamilton’s varsity lineup rounded out with Tjerdan Johnson shooting a 45 (+9), Tyler Schachtner shooting a 46 (+10) and Connor Deppe shooting a 50 (+14). Roland-Story’s lineup rounded out with Jack Birkland shooting a 44 (+8), and Nels Hanson and Hayden Eslick each shooting a 54 (+18).
