The South Hamilton Hawks golf teams returned to action on Monday afternoon, as the boys and girls hosted a 9-hole triangular at Jewell Golf and Country Club in Jewell. The Hawks were joined by HOIC foe Saydel and St. Edmond.
South Hamilton’s girls would win their meet, shooting a 205, while Saydel was 2nd with a score of 209, and St. Edmond third with a score of 250. Junior Rebekah Carlson was the individual champion, shooting a 42 (+6), while Savannah Freeman finished in a 3-way tie for 2nd with a 51 (+15). Abby Adamski shot a 55, Erin Hassebrok shot a 57, Amanda Ostrem shot a 67 and Arynn Luppes shot a 71 to round out the Hawks lineup.
South Hamilton’s boys would place 2nd with a score of 176, St. Edmond would win with a team score of 168, while Saydel finished 3rd with a score of 213. Landon Sogard and Tyler Schachtner would finish in a 3-way tie for 2nd, with each golfer shooting a 42 (+6). Tjerdan Johnson would place 7th with a 45 (+9), while Michael Carlson and Luke Martensen would tie for 9th with a 47 (+11), as Connor Deppe rounded out the line up tied for 12th with a 48 (+12).
