South Hamilton’s Remsburg qualifies for State Tournament

South Hamilton’s Keyton Remsburg was the lone Hawk wrestler to qualify for this week’s state tournament. Remsburg would open with a fall over Emmetsburg’s Clayton Rubel, before upsetting AGWSR’s Bo Gerbracht in the semifinals with a 2nd period pin. Remsburg would lose the title match to North Tama’s Kolt Knaack via fall, but would avoid the wrestle back as Bo Gerbracht would win the 3rd place match.

South Hamilton would have a 3rd-place finisher in Earnie Taylor at 220 lbs, while Braden Young (145), Kolby Hodnefield (152) and Graham Peters (182) all placed 4th. South Hamilton would place 8th at the tournament with 63 points.
