The South Hamilton girls entered with a 10-2 record, 7-1 in the conference and ranked #13 in Class 2A by the IGHSAU, while the South Hamilton boys entered at 7-4 overall and 5-3 in conference play.
Mark Henderson’s squad started fast and furious against the winless Rams, opening a 22-6 after the first quarter, which was then ballooned to 42-10 by halftime. The offense onslaught continued into the 2nd half, as South Hamilton outscored the Rams 31-10 en route to a 73-20 thrashing. Ryland Ubben led South Hamilton with 17 points, while Richard Daugherty collected a game-high 22 points.
South Hamilton’s girls return to action on Friday when they host Baxter in non-conference action, the boys return to action on Tuesday when they travel to Saydel.
