Lesher named as new Webster City Parks and Recreation Director.

The City of Webster City announced this morning that Breanne Lesher will be named as the new Director of Recreation & Public Grounds as of January 19, 2023.
Breanne began working for the City of Webster City in April of 2018 as a Public Grounds Technician. She was promoted to Assistant Director of Recreation & Public Grounds in November of 2019.
Breanne is a graduate of Webster City High School, 2008 graduate of Iowa Central Community College with an Associate of Arts Degree and Coaching Authorization, 2010 graduate of Iowa State University with a Bachelor of Science Degree, 2020 graduate of Iowa Certified Public Manager Program through the Center for Professional Studies of Drake University and a 2022 graduate of Drake University with a Master’s of Public Administration degree.Lesher takes over for long time Parks and Recreation employee Larry Flaws who will be leaving his position as of this Wednesday. Flaws joined the staff in 1977. He became director for Webster City Park and Recreation in the fall of 2019 after the death of Kent Harfst.
