West Hancock junior Mallory Leerar finished with 29 points and was 9-of-13 from the field.
The boys followed, looking to bounce back following their loss to Manson-Northwest Webster, but West Hancock had other ideas, as the Eagles of red held Eagle Grove at bay throughout the night for a 57-41 final. Drake Canavan led all scorers with 17 points, while Iowa State football-commit Rylan Barnes led West Hancock with 15 points.
