The next meeting of the Webster City Community School Board will be this Monday evening,May 23 at 6:00 at the school office at 820 Des Moines Street. A public hearing to the amend the 2021-22 budget will be a part of Monday’s agenda with the approval to follow. There will be the recognitions of the Webster City High School girls tennis team, the Northeast Hamilton Elementary 5th and 6th grade wax museum presentation, the middle school D.A.R.E. program, SWITCH program presentaton by Cindi Sweedler and a presentation on the school transportation department by director Ted Larson. The board will review the propane bid for Northeast Hamilton Elementary,approve the substitute pay rates for the 2022-23 school year, approve the school fees for the 2022-23 school year, and approve a regular education contract for student services with the Des Moines Public Schools. In other matters, the Webster City school board on Monday evening, there will be approval of the North Central Consortium agreement with student services. In personnel matters, the school board will accept resignations from high school math teacher Jessica Howard, high school science teacher Heather Sanders,middle school special education teacher Breanna Hughes,large group speech advisor Stephanie Pace, Craig Signorin for head 7th grade boys basketball coach and assistant middle school cross country coach,high school paraeducator Cathy Oswald, assistant 7th grade boys basketball coach Alex Koons. As for hiring, the board will approve the recommendations of Samantha Rouse, 5th Grade Teacher
