The South Hamilton girls golf team hosted its home invitational on Friday afternoon at the Jewell Golf and Country Club on the north end of Jewell. The Hawks were joined by Roland-Story, West Marshall and Eagle Grove on Friday.
Roland-Story’s Ellie Erickson took home the individual title, shooting an 82 (+10) on the day, sophomore teammate Makenna Carlson took home 2nd with a score of 87 (+15). South Hamilton’s top golfer on the day was senior Miranda Deppe, who shot a team-low 97, while sophomore teammate Rebekah Carlson would shoot a 99. Roland-Story sophomore Gabriella Wakefield would shoot a 103, as Eagle Grove saw its top golfer in Piper Willard, shoot a 104. Eagle Grove freshman Kennedy Thacker would shoot a 105, as teammate Alexa Jeske and Roland-Story’s Abby Cook shot a 106. South Hamilton rounded it out its lineup with a 112 from Grace Young and a 115 from Amanda Ostrem.
West Marshall was the team champions with a score of 370, as Roland-Story placed 2nd with 378. South Hamilton was 3rd with a score of 423, while Eagle Grove was 4th with a score of 430.
