The Webster City Lynx boys golf team returned to action on Tuesday night, welcoming the Greene County Rams golf team to Briggs Woods Golf Course in Webster City. The Rams entered with a 6-3-1 record out of the Heart of Iowa Conference.
Following a strong showing at the Panorama Tournament this weekend, the Lynx got a strong 9-hole showing from senior Garrett Arnold, who shot a 37 (+1), followed by fellow senior Beau Klaver, who shot a 9-hole score of 40 (+4), Klaver was the low scorer in the Panorama Tournament for the Lynx.
The back end of the line up saw Devon Stoakes shoot a 43 (+7), Drew Schwering shoot a 45 (+9), Cael Nixon shoot a 45 (+9) and Braden Doering shoot a 46 (+10) as Webster City took home a 212-165 victory and remained undefeated on the season.
The Lynx will return to action on Friday, when they travel to Algona for a triangular with the Algona Bulldogs and Hampton-Dumont-CAL.
