The Webster City Lynx boys golf team made the trip to Lake Panorama on Saturday to compete in the annual Panorama Invitational. The Lynx would compete against the host Panthers, Montezuma, Earlham, Carroll Kuemper, Audubon, Coon Rapids-Bayard and ACGC.
Webster City would follow the example set by senior Beau Klaver, who was the meet co-individual champion with Maverick Schwabe, shooting an 18-hole score of 84. The Lynx would follow with strong performances from 2-4, as Drew Schwering and Braden Doering shot 18-hole scores of 87, and senior Garrett Arnold placed 8th, shooting an 88. Seniors Devon Stoakes and Colton Wood would shoot 92 and 98 respectively.
Next action for the Lynx will be on Friday, when they travel to Algona for a triangular with the host Bulldogs and Hampton-Dumont-CAL.
