Iowa State Patrol investigting a two vehicle crash near Dayton with one person injured.

Details of a two vehicle accident in rural Webster County shortly before 1:30 Monday afternoon were released this (Tuesday) morning by the Iowa State Patrol in Fort Dodge. The accident happened at the intersection of U.S Highway 69 and 380th Street near Dayton. Reportedly a westbound 2-10 Ford F-150 Supercrew pickup truck operated by Kelli Roush of Columbus Junction failed to yield the right of way from the stop sign on the gravel road striking a southbound 2021 Jeep Gladiator pickup driven by Brant Anderson of Fort Dodge. The impact sent the two vehicles into the southwest ditch with one of them rolling onto its side. Both the Roush and Anderson vehicles caught fire and were totaled as a result. A passenger in the Anderson pickup, Lea Anderson of Fort Dodge was transported to Unity Point-Trinity Regional Medical Center by personal vehicle for treatment of minor injuries. The Iowa State Patrol charged Kelli Roush with Failure to Obey a Stop Sign and Yield the Right of Way.
