When the Webster City city council meets this Monday evening at city hall,there will be an update from officials of Platinum Connect on the city wide fiber installation project. There will also be a public hearing on the proposed purchase agreement for city owned property located in the 600 block of Second Street in the former location of Dyvig’s Pet Shop and Fuhs Pastry Shop. The council will have the second reading on proposed ordinances for both the corporate limits, the city’s two mile jurisdiction limits and on building codes. In other matters,the Webster City city council will authorize the approval of an application for the Webster City Revitalization Plan involving a tax abatement for Dale and Dawn Ingraham of 204 North Apple Avenue and for Jeff and Debra Habhab at 927 and 931 First Street. Trish Bahrenfuss will be appointed to the Webster City Civil Service Commission for the four year term beginning April 3, 2022 through April 7,2026 plus other matters.
Meeting time for the council is set for 6:00 p.m. The meeting will be presented via the Webster City Facebook page and through the ZOOM conference system.
