Budget hearing tops Webster City city council meeting on Monday,March 21.

A public hearing on the Webster City city budget for the 2022-23 fiscal year will be one of the agenda items at this Monday’s Webster City city council meeting. There will be another public hearing on the 2022-23 Capital Improvement Budget and the 2022-23 through 2026-27 Capital Improvement Plan. The council is expected to take action on approving both the city and capital improvement budgets and capital improvement plan. The council will authorize the mayor and city clerk to ammend the agreement for engineering service with P and E Engineering Company of Carlisle for the 2022 electrical underground conversion projec to allow additional easement acquisitions.

The Webster City city counil will autorize the city manager to accept  a bid from Mobile Crushing and Recycling for their services. The date of April 4 at 6:05 p.m. will be set for a public hearing on a proposed purchase agreement  for city owned property  located in Webster City.  The city manager will sign and execute an engagement letter with Ahlers and Cooney of Fort Dodge and consider the purchase of a 2022 John Deere utility tractor plus other matters.

Monday’s Webster City city council meeting begins at 6:00 in the city council chambers. It will also be streamed via the Webster City Facebook page and through the ZOOM conference system.
