Roland-Story boys face South Central Calhoun in Webster City

The Roland-Story Norsemen boys basketball team returns to postseason action on Tuesday night, as they travel to Webster City to take on the Titans of South Central Calhoun for the Class 2A, District 5 title. The Titans enter with a 17-5 record after finishing in 3rd in the Twin Lakes Conference.

South Central Calhoun enters following their semifinal win over Carroll Kuemper by a score of 64-50. The Titans are led in scoring by senior forward Joshua Dietrich, who is averaging 18 PPG and nearly 8 RPG. Junior Eli Wheelock has been the Titans outstanding scorer from the exterior, averaging 16 PPG, while shooting 46% from the field and 37% from three-point-range, he also leads the team in assists with nearly 4 APG. The Titans 2-3 zone will have to find a way to slow down Norsemen guards Isaiah Naylor and Jonovan Wilkinson.

Tipoff is slated for 7 PM at Webster City High School.
