Another Webster City Community School Board meeting is set for this Monday evening, February 14 at 6:00 at their office at 820 Des Moines Street. A public hearing on the sale of the property at 203 Second Street in Blairsburg will be on the agenda. The first reading of board policies on discrimination and harassment based on sex prohibited and on transportation in inclement weather. The Webster City school board will consider a resolution for conveyance of real property. Monetary donations from the Rossing family for this spring’s Prom and from the Webster City Sports Boosters to boys golf will be presented to the board. Fundraising requests for parents to seek donations from local businesses for Prom, to sell cupcakes through Hummingbird Confections for Prom and for a proposed indoor soccer tournament for boys soccer will be looked at. In personnel matters, the board will accept the resignation of Ana Wenck as a preschool employee and recommendations to hire Elinor Johil for middle school instrumental music and the transfer of Mike Tempel from middle school custodian to middle school head custodian plus other matters that may come before the Webster City school board.
