The Enhance Hamilton County Foundation has announced that it has granted out $7,378.51 from its Hamilton County SEED Catalyst Fund for the fourth quarter of 2021.
The four recipients of the grant are:
Ellsworth/Jewell/Stanhope Police Department for replacement of firearms that have out lived their service life – $2,684
Stratford Mercantile for improvements to the space including paint, sink and work area – $440.94
Stratford Public Library for sidewalk safety improvements – $1,760
Stratford Food Center for server updates – $2,493.57
This grant is focused on economic development and community betterment in the communities of Ellsworth, Jewell, Stanhope and Stratford. The maximum amount that can be awarded for each grant is $12,000 or 40% of the project total whichever is less. A grant review committee consisting of representatives from the four communities review the applications and make their recommendation to the EHCF Board for distribution of funds.
Applications are awarded quarterly and due at the end of each quarter to be considered for that quarter’s grants. The next grant deadline is March 31, 2022. This grant program is in addition to the annual grant program.
