The Webster City city council will meet again on Monday evening,January 17 at 6:00 in the city council chambers. The highlights on the agenda will include a presentation by Williams and Company P.C. on the Webster City city audit for 2020-21. There will be a discussion regarding donations to non-profits. The third reading of an ordinance repealing the code of ordinances pertaining to solid waste within the corporate limits of the city of Webster City. The council will authorize the sale of real estate and approving execution of a warranty deed conveying city owned property in the Brewer Creek Estates Fifth Addition to Mulley Land Company of Goldfield at Monday’s meeting.
In other matters, the Webster City city council will authorize the city manager to sign and execute an engagement letter with PFM Financial Advisors LLC. A recommendation to amend a resolution establishing fees for services by adding sections establishing fees for speeding violations and other motor vehicle violations. A request from the street department supervisor to seek bids for the purchase of Bulk Water Station and authorization to purchase if the bids come in under budget. A resolution authorizing the assistant city manager to submit an application to the Iowa Economic Development Authority Downtown Housing Grant Program for the development to two bedroom apartments at 637 Second Street.
There will be a closed session of the Webster City city council for the evaluation of the city manager.
