The Webster City basketball teams return to action on Tuesday night, when they host the Jaguars of Southeast Valley in a non-conference matchup. The Southeast Valley girls currently sit at 3-9, while the Southeast Valley boys currently sit at 7-4 overall.
The girls game presents a matchup of two teams looking to build more positive momentum into the back half of the season, as Webster City had their 2-game winning streak snapped by Clear Lake on Friday night. Southeast Valley is led by sophomores Breck Mills and Kenna Scott, as both players average in double figures on the season, while Mills averages nearly 7 RPG to lead the team.
Webster City’s boys will follow with taking the floor against a Southeast Valley team the took Roland-Story to the wire on Monday night, falling 47-44. The Jaguars are led by the dynamic duo of guard Kolson Kruse and forward Aaron Graves, who combine to average nearly 50 PPG for Southeast Valley. Webster City will look to rekindle the hot shooting of Jamie Grossoehme and Ty McKinney.
Tipoff is slated for 6:15 PM at Webster City High School.
