The girls game saw Hampton-Dumont-CAL jump out to an early lead, leading 15-9 at the end of the first, before adding on to it for a 34-23 halftime lead. The Cowgirls continued to fight, continuously working the ball inside, but the on-ball pressure of the Bulldogs proved to be too much as HD-CAL picked up a 62-44 win. Lauren Meader led the Bulldogs with 22 points, while Lexie Lane and Delia Swanson finished with 15 a piece for CGD.
Clarion-Goldfield-Dows boys team then took the court, looking to add on to their 7-0 start, the best in over a half-century. However, Hampton-Dumont-CAL had other ideas, as the Bulldogs held a 22-14 lead at the end of the first, which shrunk to 32-28 at halftime. The #9 Cowboys then began to impose their will on the Bulldogs, as Jaxon Carpenter took over, scoring 12 of his 18 points in the second half, en route to a 72-64 win for the Cowboys. Connor State finished with 19, while Jacob Moore finished with 13 off the bench.
