South Hamilton opens second half slate with Southeast Valley

The South Hamilton basketball teams return to action following winter break, as they open the 2022 slate with a non-conference foe in the Southeast Valley Jaguars. The Jaguar girls currently sit at 3-6, while the Jaguar boys sit at 5-3 entering 2022.

The Southeast Valley girls come into Tuesday night looking to surge in the 2022 portion of their schedule, as the Jaguars have lost their last 5 in a row. The Jags are led by sophomore Breck Mills, who leads the team in scoring and rebounding at 11 PPG and just under 7 RPG. The Hawks are coming off of an upset of then-3A #8 West Marshall before break, the Hawks look to get Hallee Feaker back from a minor injury as well.

As for the Jaguar boys, they enter with a 5-3 record on the season. Southeast Valley’s dynamic duo has been seniors Kolson Kruse and Aaron Graves, as the two have combined to average over 45 PPG. Kruse, is averaging just under 23 PPG, while shooting just over 43% from three-point land. However, Southeast Valley will be without Aaron Graves on Tuesday, as he is competing in the All-American Bowl in San Antonio, Texas. South Hamilton looks to build off of their win over West Marshall prior to winter break.

Tipoff is slated for 6 PM at Jim Marsh Court at South Hamilton High School.
