Christmas closings.

There will be numerous closings for the observance of the Christmas holiday weekend.  Stores will be closing at their regular time on Friday,December 24  or closing earlier in the day. The only places open on Christmas Day will be the convenience stores. The Hamilton County courthouse and all county offices will close for the Christmas weekend at 12 noon on Thursday. The Webster City municipal building will be closed on Friday, December 24 for Christmas. All city and county governmental offices will reopen on Monday, December 27. All Webster City financial institutions will be closing at 12 noon on Friday for the holiday weekend. Kendall Young Library will be closed from Friday,December 24 until 10:00 a.m. on Tuesday,December 28. Fuller Hall in Webster City will be closed both December 24 and 25 for Christmas and reopening again on December 26. There will be no city or rural delivery of mail on Christmas Day. Mail service resumes on Monday. The only exception will be with Express Mail for Christmas packages.. The Webster City post office box lobby will be open for box holders on Christmas but the customer service window will be closed. All area school districts are closed with their winter break. Classes will resume again on January 3,2022 for the students in Eagle Grove and Clarion Goldfield Dows while the students in the Webster City and South Hamilton schools will be back to school on January 4,2022.
