59.9 percent of Hamilton County residents have been vaccinated for COVID.

The latest numbers from the Iowa Department of Public Health coronavirus website is reporting there are now 59.9 percent of Hamilton County residents  who are totally vaccinated from the virus.It was a year ago this month that the first vaccines were available to the population in Iowa. There have been 2,996 positive tests in Hamilton County since the start of the pandemic. The positivity rate for COVID in Hamilton County is at 11 percent over the past seven days. There have been 60 deaths in Hamilton County due to COVID since the start of the pandemic in March,2020. All of the information  on Iowa’s COVID numbers are at coronavirus.iowa.gov
