Final meeting of 2021 for the Webster City city council is this Monday evening.

The last meeting of 2021 for the Webster City city council is set for this Monday evening at 6:00 in the city council chambers with limited seating available. The agenda for the meeting includes the public hearing on Webster City’s new precinct boundaries with the council expected to pass and adopt the ordinance. The council will be approving and confirming plans,specifications and  a form of contract and estimate of cost for the water treatment plant aerator support structure repair project. There will also be the awarding of a contract for the city hall basement and floor reconstruction project with the work to commence in the next few weeks.
In other matters, the Webster City city council will discuss the reinstating of the K-9 program for the police department. There will be the second reading on amending the ordinance for limits pertaining to Off Road Utility Vehicles within the corporate limits of Webster City and other matters.
City council member Logan Welch will be administered the oath of office for a four year term beginning January 1,2022.
There will be a closed session of the council Monday evening to discuss the purchase and or sale of particular real estate.
