Services to honor the nation’s servicemen and women will be held in two locations in Hamilton County on Thursday morning for Veterans Day. The South Hamilton high school gymnasium will be the first service of the day at 8:30. There will be special music, readings and a speech to honor these men and women on this special day. The second service of the day will be at the Webster City American Legion Post 191 on Second Street beginning at 10:45. Dave Gordon will be the featured speaker at the service. There will be a 21 gun salute and the sounding of “Taps” at the conclusion of the Veterans Day service. The public is invited to attend these services.
