Overpass Drive Bridge is open!

It’s open. The Overpass Drive Bridge on the west end of Webster City reopened to motorists late Wednesday afternoon. The reopening marked the end of the two year Second Street renovation project. For the past two years, work on renovating the street meant a disruption to the motoring public and for homes and businesses along the way. Last year the renovation work focused on Second Street between Prospect and Beach Streets. Since last spring, the second phase of the Second Street  project was from Beach Street to the Overpass Bridge. Travel on Second Street from Beach to Overpass Drive resumed on Monday with the bridge finally reopened to motorists on Wednesday afternoon.
