The South Hamilton volleyball team will close out its regular season with its conference finale against the Mustangs of Prairie City-Monroe. The Mustangs come to Jewell with an 11-21 record, and a 2-4 record in Heart of Iowa play.
PCM has been lead offensively by senior Chelsea Bird, who has amassed a team-high 150 kills on the season. Junior Sidney Shaver leads the team in assists with 298 on the season, as sophomore Reese Palm leads the team in blocks with 21.
South Hamilton enters Thursday fresh off a hard-fought win over Perry on Tuesday night. With a win, South Hamilton would clinch a 5th place finish in the Heart of Iowa Conference, and some much-needed momentum heading into the playoffs.
First serve is slated for 6:30 PM at South Hamilton High School.
