The Webster City volleyball team made the journey north to Algona on Monday night to face the Bulldogs in North Central Conference action. The Lynx had won the last matchups against the Bulldogs, and were in search of their 3rd win in a row against Algona.
The Lynx took care of business from the get go, as they controlled set 1 for a 25-15 win. In set 2, Webster City again controlled the entire way, winning by a score of 25-14. The Lynx would then close out the match with a set 3 win, also by a score of 25-14.
The duo of Sierra Rattenborg and Joslin Gourley lead the way once again, as Rattenborg finished with 10 kills and Gourley lead with 21 assists. Junior Abby Gallantine had a big night in the net, defensively, as she finished with 6 blocks, Sierra Rattenborg also lead the team in aces with 4.
Webster City will close out conference play on Thursday as they travel to Iowa Falls-Alden.
