Webster City and Clarion-Goldfield-Dows volleyball teams will be in action on Thursday as both teams will face off with North Central Conference foes.
The Lynx welcome in the Clear Lake Lions to Webster City on Thursday night. The Lions are 8-12 on the season, and are lead by players such as Xada Johnson and Ashlyn Fread. Johnson leads the Lions in kills with 151, while Fread has 205 assists. Senior Emily Theiss has 151 assists on the season, while junior Hannah Blaha leads the team in blocks with 30.
Clarion-Goldfield-Dows welcome in the Gaels of Fort Dodge, St. Edmond into Clarion on Thursday. The Gaels are 6-13 on the season, and are near the bottom of the North Central Conference standings. St. Edmond is lead by seniors Kierstin Clark and Aleah Anderson. Clark leads the team in assists with 194, while Anderson leads the Gaels in kills with 57. Senior Alyxis Mericle leads the team in blocks with 43.
