The Clarion-Goldfield-Dows cross country teams will travel to Hampton on Thursday night to compete in the Hampton-Dumont-CAL Invitiational at Maynes Grove Park in Hampton. The Cowgirls will be facing off with only 1 ranked foe in Class 1A #10 Central Springs.
The CGD girls will look to build off there showing at the Algona Invitational on Monday, as they did not compete as a full team, but did have a top 50-finisher in freshman Madison Ingebritson, who placed 48th with a time of 27:31.
The CGD boys will not face any ranked foes in the boys side of the HD-CAL Invitational. The Cowboys will look to improve off of their 19th-place finish in Algona on Monday. CGD will hope to have top runner Jacob Ingebritson back, as he did not compete in Algona on Monday.
