The Hawks will get a chance to rebound against 0-3 Belmond-Klemme in the first-ever meeting between the two schools.
The Broncos enter the game 0-3, with losses to AGWSR, Clarion-Goldfield-Dows and Mason City Newman. Belmond-Klemme is lead by a strong, I-formation rushing attack with running back Tate Sander, who has ran for 368 yards and 2 touchdowns in the first part of the season. The Broncos have been locked in a quarterback battle between juniors Brian Duran and Gavin O’Connor, while Hayden Pals and Cameron Roberts lead the charge defensively.
For South Hamilton, they have been lead in rushing by Landon Skartvedt, who has amassed 387 yards and 3 touchdowns to this point, with Tycin Barkema the 2nd-leading rusher at 82 yards. The Hawks are still missing fullback Austin Busch, who has missed the first 3 games of the season with an injury.
