Eagle Grove volleyball continued their quest for win #1 in 2021 against fellow Wright County rivals in Belmond-Klemme as they made the trip to Belmond on Thursday. The Eagles were coming off 3-0 loss to West Hancock, in which the Eagles were very competitve.
Unfortunately, Eagle Grove wasn’t able to get the job done on Thursday night, as they fell 3-0 to Belmond Klemme. The Broncos took set 1 by the score of 25-16, then followed up by taking the next two sets by scores of 25-13, and 25-19 respectively.
Eagle Grove dropped to 0-11 with the loss, and their next action will be on Tuesday, as they will travel north to face Lake Mills, who is ranked #13 in Class 2A according to the Iowa Girls High School Athletic Union.
