The Webster City Lynx cross country teams will host their annual cross country meet at Briggs Woods Golf Course on Tuesday afternoon, as they welcome 16 teams to the Lynx Invitational. Webster City has yet to compete in a cross country meet this season, due to poor weather conditions across the state last Thursday.
Notable teams that will be running on the girls side include Class 3A #1 Ballard, 3A #13 Waverly-Shell Rock, 3A #18 North Polk, 2A #11 Roland-Story, 1A #10 Fort Dodge, St. Edmonds, and 1A #11 Manson-Northwest Webster.
On the boys side, the notable teams running include Class 3A #2 North Polk, 3A #11 Waverly-Shell Rock, 1A #11 Fort Dodge, St. Edmonds, and 1A #20 Manson-Northwest Webster.
The meet is slated to start at 5 PM, Tuesday night.
