HBO/Helen Sloan(NEW YORK) — Sunday night’s Game of Thrones episode, “The Long Night,” marked a ratings high for the HBO series, drawing 12 million viewers.
When you add in both Sunday night airings, plus streaming on HBO NOW and HBO GO, the episode was seen by a total of 17.8 million viewers.
The previous gross audience high was 17.4 million viewers for the April 14 season eight premiere.
Meanwhile, Barry, the Emmy winning HBO comedy starring Bill Hader and Henry Winkler, also reached a series high, nabbing just over two million viewers with its initial broadcast on Sunday and 2.5 million for the night adding in additional airings and streaming.
