St. Thomas Aquinas School honors Hamilton County’s law enforcement community with a service Friday morning.

The students and staff  of St. Thomas Aquinas Elementary School Friday morning paid tribute to the law enforcement officers of Hamilton County during a service. Representatives of the Webster City Police Department, Hamilton County Sheriff’s Department, Hamilton County Conservation Office and the Iowa State Patrol were honored in word and song at the worship service. Father Stephen Meyer presented the law officers in attendance a St. Michael the Archangel Medal. St. Michael the Archangel is the Patron Saint of Police Officers.Following the service, the officers enjoyed a time of fellowship and refreshments from the school staff plus serenaded by the first grade students of St. Thomas Aquinas school. Every year St. Thomas Aquinas School sponsors the service to honor the peace officers and thanking them for their service to protect the citizens in Webster City and Hamilton County .
