MGK and Hailee Steinfeld go through the worst in new “At My Best” video

Malachi LeeMachine Gun Kelly and Hailee Steinfeld are tortured loners who finally find each other in the new video for their collabo “At My Best.”

The video shows MGK running and walking through the streets of a city at night, and locked in a bathroom, raging at the mirror and generally looking miserable.  Hailee is equally miserable as she leans against a wall in an alleyway, wearing a sexy outfit she doesn’t look comfortable in.

She spends the rest of the video wandering through a nightclub alone, getting bumped by random people as she sings the chorus, “If you can’t take me at my worst/you don’t deserve me at my best.”  Finally, she leaves, and she and Machine Gun Kelly meet up in the street, where they look at each other as if to say, “You complete me.”

“At My Best” is from MGK’s new album bloom, which is due May 12.  If you pre-order it now, you’ll get three instant downloads: “Bad Things,” the rapper’s hit with Camila Cabello; “At My Best,” and a song called “Trap Paris” featuring Quavo of Migos and Ty Dolla $ign.
